what we keep, and what we don't

What we ask for

You can read the whole site, browse the menu and build a docket without telling us anything about yourself. We only ask for details when you place an order for pick-up:

• Your name, so we can call it out at the counter.
• Your mobile number, so we can reach you if something is wrong with the order.
• Your email, if you'd like a receipt and an order confirmation. This one is optional.
• Any note you add to the order, which is printed on the kitchen ticket.

Card details

Square handles the payment and holds the record of it. Their handling of your information is covered by Square's privacy notice.

What we do with it

Your details are used to make and hand over your order, and nothing else. They go to the till in the shop so the kitchen can see the order, and if you gave an email, to send your receipt and confirmation. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who else is involved

• Square — takes the payment, holds the order and emails your receipt.
• Cloudflare — serves this website.
• Resend — sends the order confirmation email, if you gave an email.

Each of these only gets what it needs to do that job. Square stores order records in line with their own terms and Australian law.

Your browser

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no analytics script on it. Your docket — the list of things you've tapped — is kept in your own browser's storage on your own device. It never leaves your device until you place an order, and clearing your browser data removes it.

How long we keep things

Order records stay in Square for as long as the shop's accounting obligations require, which in Australia is generally five years. Nothing extra is kept on this website.

Seeing or deleting what we hold

Call the shop on 07 5496 0380 and ask. You're entitled under the Australian Privacy Principles to see what's held about you and to ask for it to be corrected. If you aren't happy with how we've handled it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
