The short version

Changing or cancelling

Food is cooked to order and starts soon after you pay, so there's only a short window. Call the shop as soon as you can.

• Within 5 minutes of ordering — we'll cancel it and refund the full amount.
• After 5 minutes — your food is already being made, so we can't cancel or refund it. We'll always talk it through with you.

There's no way to cancel from the website. This is deliberate: a phone call gets straight to the person standing at the fryer, and that's the only way to stop an order in time.

If we can't make your order

Sometimes we sell out, or it gets busier than we can handle. If we can't make what you've ordered we'll call you, and you can choose something else or have the full amount back. If we can't reach you, we'll refund it.

If something's wrong with it

If an item is missing, wrong, or not up to scratch, tell us on the day — at the counter if you're still here, or on the phone. We'll remake it or refund that item. It helps if you haven't thrown it out, but we're not going to be difficult about it.

Not picking it up

Orders are made for the time you chose. Food left at the counter for a long time isn't safe to eat, so if it's not collected we can't refund it. If you're running late, call us and we'll sort something out.

Public holidays

A 15% surcharge applies to orders picked up on Queensland public holidays (on Christmas Eve, from 6pm). It's shown on the menu and added as its own line before you pay, so the total you see is the total you're charged.

How a refund reaches you

Refunds are done by our manager, and go back through Square to the card you paid with. We can't send them anywhere else. Your bank usually takes a few business days to show it, sometimes up to ten.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing on this page reduces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our food comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded: if it isn't of acceptable quality, or isn't what was ordered, you're entitled to a replacement or a refund regardless of anything written here.
